• Responsible for the enforcement of Assurance and Quality Control standards and procedures guaranteeing compliance with national, state and local regulators and audit certifications
• Oversee, implement and maintain all plant BRC, HACCP, pre-requisite quality programs, and all quality/food safety related programs to meet regulatory, food safety and quality management systems requirements.
• Work with operations leadership to assess, develop and implement the process and methodologies required to continuously reduce product variability and improve overall product quality.
• Implement and maintain Quality Control system to assure product quality from incoming to manufacturing and distribution meet with required requirements.
• Generate reports describing QA activities, trends, and expenditures as well as communicate finding and action plans to appropriate parties
• Champion quality and food safety initiatives to monitor and document product, facility and working compliance.
Yêu cầu công việc
• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Food Science or equivalent.
• At least 4 years experience in the same positions within meat, yogurts or cheese processing environments.
• Demonstrate a passion for Food safety and Quality.
• Flexible, shelf-disciplined and self-motivated, highly organized, energetic, goal focused, high integrity.
• Works well rolling-up-the-sleeves in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail, strong analytical skills, strategic and critical thinking skills, problem solving, trouble shooting ability.
• Results oriented and ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
