1/ Manage operation of Merchandising Department
• Make action-plan and manpower plan to ensure the Merchandising Department operation reach the working targets.
• Manage, coordinate employees’ work, in order to ensure general performance of team.
2/ Build sales strategies, manage & develop product categories
• Build, execute & supervise execution of merchandising strategies for long term, mid-term and short term.
• Manage all product categories. Build development orientation for categories. Ensure the product quality, margin & sales performance according to the Company policy & strategies.
• Evaluate market and customer information together with historical data and forward consumer trends to develop the sales strategy for in-charge products and category. Develop business plans & sales plans for each month, special occasions, and seasons.
• Source products which is trendy, timely, customer needed. Cooperate with other related Department to make products high competitive and ideal on TV channel or website, in order to optimize sales and profit.
• Liaise, cooperate with existing suppliers and negotiate contracts (including product margin, price, promotion, broadcasting plan). Source and build relations with new suppliers.
• Do market survey, collect and analyze market information.
3/ Follow & manage product procurement & sales; maximize sales performance of all categories
• Do prior examination of product quality, regulations and related paper, certificates to ensure legitimation. Check & approve suitable products before sales.
• Cooperate with Program Production Department & suppliers in product planning & preparation for broadcasting.
• Prepare & ensure stock inventory ready for sales plans and customer needs. Monitor product delivery plan from suppliers to the Company’s warehouses.
• Support Customer Service Department in handling and resolving customer complaints about products. Analyse customer feedback data and cooperate with related Departments to improve product & service quality and increase customer trust.
• Monitor product inventory & build plans for stock clearance.
4/ Manage, train & develop employees
• Guide & train merchandiser team on knowledge & skills, in order to develop qualify manpower matching with job requirements.
5/ Perform other tasks assigned by Superior
• Perform other tasks that are assigned by Superior.
Yêu cầu công việc
• University graduate in relevant majors.
• At least 5 years working experience in retail/ e-commerce industries or TV home shopping company with minimum 3 years at managerial level.
• Expertise of product categories and ability to catch up with customer needs.
• Communication & team work skills.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Good management skills.
• Good at English; Korean language is preferable.
