*** Operation and Customer service management:
• Master understanding operation and customer service process: Air, Ocean, Consolidation, FCL, LCL, Trucking (FTL, LTL), Cross-border, Project, warehouse, intermodal transport, and international trade; Incoterms, Customs Documentation, HS Code, and import/export processes; International Contract law…
• Manage and response day-to-day staff’s operation and customer service.
• Expertizing in worldwide routes to manage load and deliver to right destination and right customers.
• Lead FWD team to focus on the key customer service drivers, comply with specific client SOP from end to end and monitor respective performance.
• Solve daily issues & claims, action plan to customers.
• Collaborate with Sales team to follow up customers’ orders successfully.
• Liaise with customers, vendors for the provision of smooth process.
• Design, Plan, Operate new projects/ customers to provide efficient cost and meet customer’s satisfaction.
• Master understanding contracts and charge structures including surcharges, additional charges and accessorial charges to finalize freight contract with ocean/air carriers, vendors.
• Master understanding incoterm, legal framework to offer right freight and right bid to customers.
• Manage Cost & Selling for each daily job
• Quotation and Bid to Customers, Agents
• Market survey
• Risk forecast
• Develop relationship worth ocean/air carriers, vendors and achieve freight competitiveness.
• Sales support
• Report to Branch Manager and CEO on a regular basis and contribute to corporate decisions.
*** Team management:
• Set up working culture and mindset.
• Make a clear improvement scheme and coach staffs.
• Set up KPI to evaluate staff’s performance
• Motive self-develop and engage teamwork.
• FWD team structure , enlarge, recruit and train new staff
• Market pricing report
• Monthly P & L report
• Other specific reports as ordered.
*** Communication and collaboration:
• Communicate and collaborate with other teams and draw the best interest for a company.
• Communicate and collaborate with other Team Managers, oversea branches & offices, HQ and vendors to create the best result.
• Customers orientation.
• Win-win mindset with Ocean/Air Carrier and vendors
Yêu cầu công việc
o Over > 3-5 years for Forwarding Manager position
o Good command of written and spoken English.
o Good communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ocean/Air carrier system experiences.
o Responsible, pro-active and attention to details.
o Be a good team player and able to work under pressure.
