This position reports to the CEO of Vietnam for the day-to-day finance operations and functionally to the Head Office Finance in Singapore. You will oversee the finance function of the Vietnam operations, lead the various finance teams in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong and Hanoi. You will advise the CEO of Vietnam and Business Unit Heads on all finance-related matters. This includes reviewing and improving accounting and operating procedures with appropriate internal controls and measures, ensure timely preparation and accurate reporting of financial matters / results / management reports and tax reporting. In addition, you will conduct operational performance review and analysis and oversee the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts. You will also be responsible for cash management and treasury matters in Vietnam, and liaising with banks locally to build strong relationships. You will liaise with external auditors and relevant government authorities on audit / accounting issues and ensure that all companies in Vietnam comply with accounting, tax, legislative and regulative requirements, and may be required to undertake ad-hoc projects as assigned. You will assist in financial assessment/analysis for Deal Diligence and M&A transactions.

You should possess a University Degree majoring in Finance / Accountancy / ACCA or its equivalent, with at least 10 to 12 years of relevant experiences, with the recent 2 to 3 years in similar controller position in Vietnam. You should also be a certified Chief Accountant. You must be familiar with Vietnam Accounting Standards and international Financial Reporting Standards and have experience dealing with Vietnamese authorities, auditors and banks. You should possess a high level of integrity, independent and strong analytical skills. Strong leadership and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are also essential. Hands-on experience in operational finance matters, proficient in MS Office and written & spoken English are required. Ability to travel to different locations within Vietnam is essential. Experience in Real Estate industry, Control Self-Assessment and multi-company working environment are preferable.
