Environmental Health & Labour Safety Manager

Coordination, development and deployment of Group EH&S policies, best practice and local regulatory requirements.
Identification and evaluation of significant health and safety risks and development of suitable control systems.
Investigation of incidents, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventative measures.
Development and implementation of new initiatives to increase health, safety and environmental performance across the business.
Promotion of EH & S activities to increase awareness and understanding across the business.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Occupational Safety and Health/Environment or a related field from an accredited institution.
Five years full time safety and/or occupational health operations.
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; being able to succinctly communicate, market and sell practical EHS & S solutions to all levels of company/business/and facility personnel.
Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Good Understanding of OSHA general industry and EPA regulations, related state statutes/regulations or local ordinances.Familiarity of equivalent international regulatory standards.
Experience conducting investigations and mitigating hazards common to construction, hospitality & facility maintenance operations is required
Knowledge of Fire Protection, Contractor Safety, Injury/Illness prevention, Electrical Safety, Hazardous Substances and Ergonomics.
Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English
Proficient in MS Office
