• Operate facilities equipment and control system smoothly within specification required.

• Manage individual shift team members and responsible for any activities and incident on site during working shift.
• Lead and be responsible for shift pass down meeting and daily tool box meeting with team members.
• Support and give instructions for shift operators to familiarize with facility system such as power distribution system, Mechanical Wet, Mechanical Dry, Automation, Process and Building Service.
• Responsible for smooth operation and tight control facilities equipment – expect no human error to cause interruption.
• Responsible for making periodic assigned reports and analytical reports such as PEMS (FMCS), shift reports, load trending, Pass down and other specific assignment

• Ensure Vietnam payroll processes are executed on time & accurately meeting filing deadlines as per regulatory standards including personal income tax (“PIT”), social/health/unemployment insurance contribution (“SIHIUI”).
• Responsible for all day-to-day payroll administrative functions with strong collaboration with payroll service provider/ HRIS, HR partners & other departments.

This position is responsible for leading key areas of the monthly Cost Accounting close, setting standard cost, inventory absorption, product costing analysis, variance analysis, inventory and COGS reporting, audit and SOX compliance process
• Responsible for timely and proper completion of monthly and quarterly financial close related to Inventory, Cost of Good Sold (COGS) including full inventory absorption process.
• Responsible for setting up Standard Cost on a quarterly basis or as needed
• Assist in the month end, quarter end cycle count activities with Stock room, Shopfloor and 3rd party warehouses.
• Prepare journal entries and ensure proper general ledger coding in support of monthly closings
• Perform variance analysis such as Purchase Price Variance (PPV), Material Usage Variances (MUV), Cycle Count Variances, Yields, etc
• Complete month end account analysis and reconcilation using “Iron Curtain Approach” for the entire Inventory and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) Accounts
• Prepare adhoc analyses as requested by Cost Accounting Manager/ Corporate
• Ensure compliance with Corporate Finance policies and proper execution of controls as required by SOX controls.
• Drive process/system improvement within the Costing/ Accounting area
• Support the quarterly reviews and annual audit with the internal and external auditors
• Prepare Quarterly Inventory Reserve Analysis for Raw Materials, Work in Process and Finished Goods.
• Assist Inventory cut-off testing and other inventory related Cost Accounting activities
• Assist as needed with the quarterly Unit Financial Reports

Basic Job Functions:
Primary function is to support for Business Application Systems (BAS) and Manufacturing Engineering Systems (MES) at First Solar’s Vietnam facility. Global systems currently in place that will be rolled out and support include (but not limited) ERP, HRIS, Maintenance, Collaboration, Planning, Business Intelligence Reporting and other related systems. MES is an internally developed solution used consistently across all plants. Responsible to troubleshoot BAS related issues onsite and function as the bridge to shared service resources in Malaysia and USA. Assist in gathering requirements and drive process improvement leveraging BAS and MES systems. Responsible for analysis and evaluation of user business problems and work with global team to development of system recommendations to meet requirements including problem definition, evaluation of requirements, configuration, testing and implementation.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Support users in our Vietnam facility with their business application needs to adopt global processes and incorporate localization requirements. Global systems currently in place that will be rolled out and supported include (but not limited) SAP ECC 6.0, HRIS, Maximo, Sharepoint, Kinaxis RR, Business Intelligence Reporting and other related systems.
• Work with the control engineers to document new requirements for MES system and connected applications and/or other shop floor applications. Work with shared services to go through SDLC process.
• Responsible for analysis and evaluation of user’s business problems and work with global team to development of system recommendations to meet requirements including problem definition, evaluation of requirements, configuration, testing and implementation.
• Act as Level 2 support in resolving complex incidents. The global call center will take initial support requests. They will handle level I calls and address documented application questions and troubleshooting fixes before passing on to shared services or lead analyst position for localization requirements. Provide guidance back to call center.
• Responsible to troubleshoot BAS related issues onsite and function as the bridge to shared service resources in Malaysia and USA. Gather requirements and drive process improvement.
• Responsible for handling local business application needs. This includes requirements and processes specific to Vietnam (i.e. tax localizations). Analyst will gather requirements, prepare or work with shared services to prepare functional documentation and test scenarios, complete configuration/development, test and work with users to complete end user testing, update any procedures and address any change management/training needs.
• Perform medium to complex functional configuration tasks for SAP relevant modules to develop prototype solutions to business requirements and to implement fixes, changes, and enhancements
• Document processes, specifications, working instructions and solutions to drive the creation of support knowledge base system
• Provide resource management for local analyst (1) to deliver all responsibilities
• When need is specific to local facility (i.e. Vietnam tax) and global team cannot assist, responsible for working directly with local service provider to deliver.
• Liaison with global IT counterparts to ensure alignment and awareness of any changes
• Liaison with business departments to ensure alignment and awareness of any changes. Work with process owners and SMEs to review/improve current processes
• Promotes and supports ITIL processes and ITSM service delivery model.
• Participates in and may lead projects.
• Primary escalation point for team if guidance is needed or if business partners have a concern
• Support goals of IT and business.
• Exercises effective communication levels and fosters team building.
• Adheres to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards
• Other duties as assigned
